Myth vs. Reality: Those who feel dog training is costly and time consuming, consider this: Expense of Dog training $17 - $90 per session verses: Dog digs up small garden, chews sofa, claws up back door, destroys wall to wall carpet...etc... etc... etc. Time commitment during training is about 2 hours per day plus "the usual time" spent with your dog. Time commitment after training is the same amount of time you spend now, maybe even more now that your dog is such a pleasure to be around. verses: Replacing destroyed items, replanting the garden, etc. Extra time on the road to friends houses because they don't want to be around your disobedient dog, and sit on smelly, chewed, hair laden furniture. Not to mention the Time you spend chasing your dog around because he wont come. |
